Cherry was called to work in a lot of important clubs and events in italy, like the Rome Burlesque Festival and the Milan Burlesque award, theater shows ecc..., she was called to work also in 2009 NYE in Lebanon at the glamours club Le ca/barré with other international circus artist and singers! She keep the attention on herself of television and newspapers and she released interviews and pictures for two italian books about burlesque. Peter Brownbill ist ein kleinwüchsiger (120 cm) Schauspieler, Performer und Entertainer. Er hat bereits in nationalen und internationalen Kinofilmen und Musikvideos mitgespielt und ist Moment wohl der erfolgreichste Schauspieler Deutschlands in dieser Größenordnung. Aus versilbertem Stahl, dreieinhalb Zentimeter breit, ein Drittel so lang, wie sie selber gross ist, ist das Teil, das sie in sich hineinfallen lässt. «The Drop» heisst das. «Lunatique» nennt sie poetisch ihr Kunststück, mit dem Schwert zu spielen. «Jewels» ist die Frau mit dem Schwert. Und die mit vielen anderen magischen Verführungskünsten. Bei der "Sword Swallowers Association International SSAI", der Vereinigung aller "bekannten lebenden Schwertschlucker", sind unter fast 80 Künstlern nur vier Frauen gemeldet. Jewels ist die jüngste von ihnen. Geboren wurde sie in St. Petersburg. Als sie 11 Jahre alt war, wanderte ihre Familie nach Schweden aus. Sie lernt Schwertschlucken, mit 17 geht sie nach London und tritt im Covent Garden auf. "Mich haben diese Dinge immer interessiert", erklärt Jewels gelassen und meint Grenzerfahrungen. In ihrem speziellen Gewerbe arbeiten kaum Frauen. "Das Schwert sei nicht das Sensationelle an ihrer atemberaubenden Show". Und wirft dann ein englisches Zitat ein: «It’s not what you do, it’s the way that you do it». Es ist ihr Lebensmotto geworden: Wichtig ist nicht was du tust, sondern wie du es tust. Das Publikum ist zwiegespalten, einerseits greift sich jeder unwillkürlich an die Kehle.
